Dog Training - Labrador Retriever Gun dog

www.sitmeanssit.com This is a fun 'mark' an object from anywhere drill that I do, and this one is done in water today. Having the ability to have the dog both drop and pick up objects, gives me flexibility in teaching concepts while staying dry.

  1. you gotta use a slingshot....shoot him in the ass with it and i guarantee he wont run off again

  3. While practicing, tie him to a short stake in the ground until he gets the hang of it more. You can also practice with him in a kennel first, then open door when you want him to go. He won't be taking off that way til you get more training in him.

Hey I have a two year old yellow lab and he's an animal when it comes to hunting, but this last season he started to break on me. Even a shock collar wont get his ass to stay. I got on him about it but he still tends to break if I come up to shoot really fast. Any tips???
