    my border collie (Jolene) just watched this video for the first time. She went nuts, then demanded to be let outside to search for this puppy. When she came back in she had the most confused look on her face I've ever seen on a dog. Just "wtf?" written all over her

    i know that now, and plus, i didn't exactly say what i meant to say when i said that, what i meant was that you got to do SOMETHING to reward them for good deeds, otherwise they will just act as many people say they do, like an annoying b- i-i mean annoying "female dog"...dang...politicly correct congress...people...

    I'm so sorry :-( I had a BC and had to re-home him when he was just a year old as I was moving overseas, he is a brilliant farm dog and was showing his herding instincts when he was about 10 weeks old. I'm happy he's got a good home but so sad I had to say goodbye... saying an eternal goodbye to Kelly must have been very hard for you :-(

    actually alot of their behaviour is bred into them and they exhibit positive behaviours from an early age, often they don't need to be "trained" but to have the desirable behaviour rewarded so that they will repeat it on command
