Gone to the Snow Dogs PO Box 12 Alpena, MI 49707 This was our first offical snow storm of the 2009 Winter season! I woke up to this beautiful blanket of white! The dogs were SO excited!! It was dark the first time they went out, so I made sure to video the 2nd time they went out. You can clearly tell that Shelby LOVES the snow, but Shiloh isn't to fond of it. She would rather be inside sleeping on the couch or the waterbed. I hope you enjoy this short video of our dogs. There will be a video tomorrow. We did a special video for the Project for Awesome! cute!!!
ReplyDeletewhere did you get them
ReplyDeleteShelby: What is this? I must catch it! I must play in it! AHHH!!
ReplyDeleteShiloh: Oh. It's this stuff again...
I love that the only way to get Shelby back in was to tempt her with food :)
if its a puppy ceasar milans book recommends you let him sleep WITH you at first.
ReplyDeleteIt turns out he had major anxiety? A friend of ours came by a week ago, and she's had dogs her whole life. To give the folks a break she took him for a night. I guess being still too young to be taken from the mother has him act the way he does.
ReplyDeleteShe said the only time He'd fall asleep and stop howling is if he was completely snuggled right to your chest.
He's doing better now, though ^_^
That is a crazy mix of dog there! hehehe It only took mine a day to get settled
ReplyDeleteWe just got a puppy yesterday, and he's a quarter German Shepard, Siberian Husky, Boxer, and Wolf. He also loves the snow, and being his first night he's now crying and howling :(
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to take him back out, but I wonder how long he'll whine. I did have him out to do his business before crating him. I wonder how long it took for your dogs to get use to a new home.
Aww Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for watching!
ReplyDeleteIf she wanted to jump she could. They are never outside alone. And when they are, they are on tieouts
ReplyDeletehehehe
ReplyDelete00:20 - The best moment in my life.He has gorgeous eyes. *__*
ReplyDeleteLOL!!
ReplyDeleteLMAO this dog just can't get enough of it xD
ReplyDeleteYour huskys don't try to go away from your garden? I ask it because I hear about huskys are very good "escapers" and your garden's gates are kinda low...
ReplyDeleteCan you answer please?
How cool!
ReplyDeleteThey are well trained! Watch some of our newer videos
ReplyDeleteLove it!! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYour dogs are beautiful!!! I actually have two husky too and they are almost the same colors as yours!! The male is golden-isshh (sable) and the female is black, white and caramel!! :)
ReplyDeleteCute :) I love huskies! And yours must be trained or something cause this fence is not high at all :P
ReplyDeleteShiloh was just chillin like a villian !
ReplyDeleteOh btw they are CUTE!!
What do Mishka's videos have to do with these videos? This is NOT Mishka. Our dogs do more then just "talk" for 30 seconds on a video.
ReplyDeletehehehe
ReplyDeleteNot as much as Shelby!
ReplyDeleteI love mishka's videos
ReplyDeleteNo i wouldnt trust my malamute either, she has gotten out of the yard before and taken off running i caught her luckily :)
ReplyDeletemy husky got hit by a car recently so i recomend keeping them on the leasch he was only 7 months old he is fine but he broke his leg badly he never aloud to go racing what should i do to keep him happy? please help
ReplyDeleteWe don't. It's something you have to deal with. Dogs bark, and if you are somewhere where you will get complaints. . you might want to wait until you move. .
ReplyDeleteYes they can be!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm thinking about getting a Husky but unfortunately I'm going to move to a rather small apartment. I do have time though to go out two to three times a day, but I wonder, how do you train your huskies to not bark in the apartment when you're out? I would hate it if I moved, got a husky and got complains from neighbours.
ReplyDeleteLove your channel, hug the dogs from me!
Oh, we got antlers for our two greyhounds a little while back from someone in the city. They love them! (Though they're very slow at eating them haha.)
ReplyDeleteYou're dogs are very beautiful, i have a husky and that dog its my life :D Greetings from Mexico !
ReplyDeleteshelby is so pretty
ReplyDeleteof course!!!

ReplyDeleteI think since you have responded with CHECK OUT MY VIDS so many times, you comments are showing up as spam.
ReplyDeleteMy Husky is 90% of leash at my house and we don't have a fence + living -currently- in more of the city. He always stays in the yard and never goes past the boundaries we set for him! **Check out my Vids**

ReplyDeletei love Huskys
ReplyDeletei have a 3 huskys also they are my favorite dogs
ReplyDeleteTo each their own. I won't ever do it with my girls.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
ReplyDeleteYup, I have read that!
ReplyDelete*the reason he stays
ReplyDelete
My guess is that they reason he says is because of his nature to work. He has been trained to do a "job" which I'm sure he takes pride in. Remember, Siberians were bred to be work dogs. However, this takes months (even years) of time and countless money (I know someone who worked in NARC).
ReplyDeletehaha. owned.
ReplyDeleteoh and yes she is a horrible owner because she wants to make sure her dogs don't step onto the road and get smacked by a truck.
These dogs (with the exception of Oakley) are given free run of the house, they're fed premium food (believe me, I've researched), brushed daily, and given lots of attention -- I don't know how much more spoiled they can get.
Oh, and these so called leash laws are put into effect for a reason -- SAFETY.
Look it up!
It's in a husky's nature to run AND they're great escape artists. Also, they're amazing hunters -- I just got a present of a half alive bird. Of course, there are exceptions but for the 99.99% of them, I wouldn't trust them off leash.
ReplyDeleteLet's see.. they're intelligent, stubborn, bossy, curious. Most of all, they ONLY listen when they want to. A husky might be trained to listen to commands but the operative word is WILL -- they are incredibly strong willed. All it takes is ONCE.
