INDOOR POTTY TRAINING " A SIMPLER METHOD " by Tinytailsnkisses

Although there are so many different ways to potty train a puppy. It is very difficult to find one that suit your pup's need and fits your life style. A Simpler Method for Indoor Potty Training : This method is like making a deluxe crate = a better larger crate with a bathroom in it . This way your new dog won't go all over the house at the beginning while he/ she is still learning to master it's potty training skill. Using a traditional crate will be too hard for people who go to work 8 - 5 daily and when the puppy is still too small to hold their pee for 7 -9 hours. This method I created is proven to be VERY SIMPLE for ANY pups to understand. It even works for older/ untrained dogs, house with multiple dogs like mine, or hyper pups who can't focus. It also works for busy owners and family with children who likes to keep the house clean & urine- free. You MUST START THE POTTY TRAINING STEPS BEFORE YOU BRING YOUR DOG HOME. Yes, that's right ! What that means is, before you bring your new dog home, you must : 1. Get a GATE / PLAYPEN for your home to make boundaries for your new dog. Your house is too big and confusing for the new dog and it needs your help to make it simpler for him/ her by using gates / playpen. *In my video I use Small Animal Playpen (Large size).Brand : All living Things, available in Petsmart for 2. Choose a specific area for them to go potty (this method was designed for indoor potty training for small to medium dogs, for bigger dog I recommend ...

  2. What is wet pads? Is it just a pee pee pad that's already soiled? If it is, just change them more often.

  4. Training your dog to use the PetLawn is much like teaching it any kind of trick. It takes repetition and positive reinforcement for the dog to learn. It is true that puppies learn more quickly than older dogs, but the popular adage that "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" certainly doesn't hold up here. Older dogs just require a bit more repetition and patience to learn.

  5. Hmm, interesting. That sound like what cats usually do.
Is it possible for you to leave the room door's closed? or ..do you have to keep him inside the room?
If you have to leave him in the room, then you have to put him in some kind of a crate or create a gated area for him that way he has no access to your bed when you are not home (because even if you remove the bed, he will find another object of yours because he is trying to make a statement).

  16. Hi,
Yes you will be able to move the potty pads around " within the area". He will understand that "that room" is his potty room (basically is like a bathroom for us), but he won't mind the position of the pads as along as they are still in the same room.
If you want to move room or move house, you must first blocked the area completely and make a new area to start all over again.

  17. You will need some type of gates to create a boundary for your pup (she can't be free to roam inside the house at all time until she is potty trained). Rottweiler will be big, so you will need to train her to go outside. Only let her in the house to roam free after she goes potty/ poop and make sure that she is supervised for the first 3 months. You will need to make her a daily routine to go outside to go potty/ poop. Potty training is always hard at the beginning, but it will get easier :)

  18. hello, I love your helpful video and I was wondering if you can please help me out. I basically got a play pen/gate for my puppy and I placed everything just like you did, the puppy sleeps on one side and pees and poops on the pads, my question is, once he completely understands to potty on the pads, and i remove the fence, can I move around the potty pads? or has to be in the same position as it is now. Thank you so much!

  22. Hi,
Potty training is pretty complicated for any dog/s. Make sure you open and close the gate for her until she gets the idea, then she can come in and out on her own.
She is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

    :)

  24. Hi, you have to make sure that the dog is in healthy condition. A lot of people breed and sell dogs without caring about the dogs health. So some of them are sick and unhealthy, the new owner will certainly pay the price for that ignorant behaviour.
Ask a lot of questions about the vaccines they are giving, mother and father, health conditon, and how clean their dog's area (if they never clean the potty area, it will make it harder for the puppy to be potty trained)

  25. Hi. I need more info before I can help. Do you use any type of gate at home? Is she a large breed? Is she spayed? Where does she go to potty now?
